Additionally, she worked as a Certified Addiction Counselor, Level II for MARR (Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences) where she introduced and implemented the "Corrective Thinking" curriculum to the Men's Center over 15 years ago as an added resource for men to maintain their recovery by quickly identifying their erroneous thinking patterns and changing them to more prosocial and healthy thoughts leading to more responsible choices.
Jessica answered the call to direct her clinical skills to help promote understanding of men of women in crisis pregnancy situations and promote awareness of the complex psychological and spiritual impacts of abortion in order to enable healing and reconciliation. She has assisted in interventions with women in unplanned pregnancy situations and has given many educational presentations to various groups and churches regarding Pro Life Issues. Jessica feels strongly about the use of counseling and the need to process emotions that surface during divorce. She has a special interest and desire to help others who are tackling this emotionally charged and financially taxing experience. While she encourages her clients to exhaust all resources before filing for divorce, she remains effective in helping men and women increase rational thought, control heightened emotions, and remain solution focused.
My mission is to provide professional, competent counseling.
You can expect to be treated with dignity and respect in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Please note that Jessica does not provide legal advise as this is outside of her scope of expertise.
